  • Fog of war system with 120x120 persistent discovery grid
  • Player base building with 5 structure types (turret, shield, mine, radar, hangar)
  • Quest board with 8 procedurally generated quest templates
  • Module system: 5 ship slots with 5 rarity tiers
  • Ion storms now affect weapon accuracy and shield recharge rates

Multiplayer Performance Overhaul

Bugfix Feature

Major improvements to multiplayer smoothness and responsiveness. Entity interpolation is now frame-perfect, and the binary snapshot protocol has been optimized for lower bandwidth.

  • Interpolation rewritten for smoother entity movement
  • Delta snapshots reduce bandwidth by 40-60% for stationary entities
  • Fixed rendering artifacts when enemies spawn at world edge
  • Debug overlay cleaned up and moved behind a toggle
  • Enemy density increased near player clusters for better engagement pacing
